  We attempted to order dinner here last Sunday. After about five minutes of standing at the counter, without any service, we gave up (we were the only ones in the restaurant at 7:00 PM by the way, and they do not close until 8:00 PM, I checked). I though it a bit odd after being "onced-over" by three of the staff members, who made eye-contact then hurriedly wandered off. I suppose they had something better to do than take an order. No "one moment please", or "I'll be with you in a second", or anything, never an indication that they intended to help. In fact, not a word was ever exchanged between either party (I was surely not going to beg for their service). Needles to say, we left and went to another BBQ joint down the road (which by the way was PACKED). I suppose Brookstreet's business is so good that they can turn customers away. Could of fooled me considering the place was empty. We won't try again.

  Went in today with my co-workers. I got to see the variety of their food there since it was like 10 of us. I ordered the sliced beef sandwich loose cut( which is the yummy soft, moist part of thr brisket) and it was the best tasting brisket. I could really taste the smoky flavor in the meat. My friend got the ribs and shared one with me and WOW DELICIOUS very tender. And their fried okra YUMMY with ranch. Really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Brookstreet. See you again soon.

  This BBQ place is poorly rated unjustly. I was there yesterday for dinner with the family and we had a wonderful dinner. The food is really good and tasty.
